Violet Evergarden Poster
This was an assignment for typography where we were tasked with creating a typographic layout using a motivational message. I created a poster from one of my favorite series, Violet Evergarden, which follows the main character Violet as she travels from place to place to help those who cannot read or write to be able to communicate to others and loved ones through letters. The quote comes from a scene in the show, with the top typeface being a custom made typeface, and the bottom one being a more refined “Evergarden” typeface. Using both the quote and the envelope where the upper typeface is unrefined, but through sending a letter through violet, can be refined and beautiful. This is also the first time I tried to make an illustration inside of adobe illustrator, where I made a key scene from the show.
