Bubble Poster Re-design
This was an assignment to re-design a movie poster in my own style and thinking. The movie of choice, I decided to make a poster on Bubble, Directed by Tatsuro Araki and written by Gen Urobuchi. From the Movie trailers and Movie in general, Bubble’s artwork and scenes within the movie are all pretty and gives off a studio ghibli feel. I made my poster design after multiple iterations of playing with the background and working with
the silhouette of Uta jumping, which I made upside down to show how shes
somewhat diving at the same time. I made everything have a more painting-like
and abstract feel because just like an actual bubble, if you look close up at one,
they could be said to have a wavy-paint like style to them.
